DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Level Golang/Azure Developer with some architecture and design knowledge to work on a global enterprise application, using state-of-the-art development and tools. This is a REMOTE contract role with our trusted long-term client. You will work East Coast Business Hours. Candidates must currently live in the US (preferably in the eastern or central time zone).

The team builds modern web applications, API’s, microservices, & databases for the cloud. They utilize Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS for application infrastructure & development operations. and leverage SOA and Microservices to create loosely coupled, interoperable, and reusable software components.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary application coding using .Net, .Net Core, C#, Web API, Go, HTML(5), Javascript, JSON and RESTful services within an MS Web application framework.

• Six auto-scaling Kubernetes clusters that utilize RBAC, Calico, and Linkerd in both Azure & AWS

• Containerized & scalable API’s and microservices deployed to Kubernetes and configured for HPA

• Multiple high throughputs (currently, up to 3500-4000 rps, ~120M rpd) Go services that ingest, enrich, and persist data from thousands of workstations for workflow analytics utilizing go routines, channels, and a worker pool pattern.

• Relational & NoSQL data stores

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Languages:

• Go, C#, JavaScript, SQL/TSQL, bash & shell, PowerShell

• On occasion: Java, Scala

 Frameworks:

• Node JS, .NET, .NET Core

 DevOps:

• Azure DevOps CI/CD

• GitHub & GitHub Security

• Kubernetes (AKS & EKS)

• Docker

• Helm
